Sloane Serpe Announced as 2021-2022 Varsity Head Coach and Program Director

 

Highland Park Girls Lacrosse is pleased to announce we have hired Ms. Sloane Serpe to lead our program!!! She will serve as Program Director and Varsity Head Coach.

Sloane is originally from North Caldwell, NJ and played college lacrosse at the University of North Carolina. She was a two-time team captain (2013 and 2014). While playing for the Tar Heels, she was a part of four NCAA Tournament appearances. As a captain, she helped lead UNC to the NCAA National Championship in 2013.

Additionally, UNC advanced to the semifinals in 2011 and the quarterfinals in 2012 and 2014. Sloane is one of a handful of players to earn All Atlantic Coast Conference honors three times. She started 81 games in her career which is more than any player in Carolina history.

In high school she earned a spot in the 2009 Under Armour All-American Game. She also led West Essex Regional High School to the 2009 New Jersey state championship.

Sloane was named team MVP in 2009 and 2010, and was a three time all-state, all country and all-conference selection.

Accolades: 4X Team All American NCAA National Championship 2013 3X All ACC 81 game starter (most career starts of any UNC lax player) Captain 2013 and 2014 US Team member 2014-2016 Team STX athlete UWLX Long Island South Championships 2016 and 2017
